Easy Dis V44.rar
Disabling the HD activity on the PPC Mac that I am working on, every time I open the V44 DIS file from Rapidshare, I get the error message: “File damaged, Cannot restore” – which I presume means that the HD activity is being enabled before the installer has finished loading.. The installation is very slow when there are a lot of. Windows -> EasyDIS 4.7.. installation, and it is a.rar file.

This may be just a shot in the dark, but given that you are having problems with the rar, I would just try opening it with the archive manager in Windows and see if it is showing any errors. If it does, you can just right click and select extract, and the program should be able to extract it and then you can double click the.exe to run it.
If not, it means that the rar has been damaged. In that case, you should probably check with the original owner of the file to see if they can provide a replacement.
If that doesn’t work, you may have to try opening it with 7z instead of rar, and see if it works that way. This can be found in the Windows 7 Programs and Features in the Add or Remove Programs section.

I have a tabset in a JQuery UI (v1.9) dialog box where some tabs are disabled. I noticed that a modal dialog box can be focusable if you use tabindex. Is there a way to make the disabled tab focusable?

You might need to wrap the title in an HTML element and wrap the children of that HTML in a separate DIV. The text, on the outside, will still be focusable, but your focus will change to the inner DIV.

In the source of jQuery UI, you will find this code for dealing with disabled tabs:

This uses the ui-tabs-nav class, which indicates a tab/navigation indicator. If it’s focus, it will select the tab.
So, you can probably wrap the title in an element and put the tab inside that element, and it will select the tab. Then, set your tab to be disabled.
