Bullet Hell is set in a futuristic setting where a large interplanetary war has been going on for quite a long time. Unfortunately, not everyone was happy about the peace treaty, and an extremist group called the Red Faction plans to disturb the peace once again with a widespread attack against the peace.

The player is one of three protagonists who make up the Red Faction Team and has been assigned to protect the peace treaty in the upcoming New Age, which is set on July 4th.
