With up to six player-controlled heroes, the game has hundreds of enemies from flying skate-bikes to foot soldiers armed with rocket launchers, but the player can also increase the power of each hero by using Energy Credits which are earned as the player clears each level.
Games like ‘MegaTron Rainfall’ are unique because they are “player games” with no requirements for any type of adapter or peripheral. In addition, ‘MegaTron Rainfall’ is the only “open game” available today. “We’re the first to develop a game that is fully playable on the Nintendo DS without any limitations.” said Hiroshi Oya, the Chief Operating Officer for MegaTron Rainfall.
The game launches on April 12th in Japan and will be coming to North America this Summer.

Speaking of the DS Lite, was this really the first game to be directly written for it? I know it was the first that ran on the DS without a VGA port, but the DS Lite might be the first with 512k of RAM.
